Sales tax area is missing the green button to record sales payments. Any reason why it might have dissapeared/ how to get it back? A bug?

It's pretty straightforward. A button that is supposed to be green and be next to cancel doesn't exist. It did before. Is this just a bug that QB made worse with a UI change?

I recognize the relevance of recording sales tax payments in your account, vijay3. I can help provide input about the missing green button from the sales tax center.

Sales tax is usually handled on a quarterly pre-pay basis. QuickBooks will notify business owners when it's time to file your taxes.

Thus, the Record Payment option (green button) will appear once your sales taxes are ready for payment or shown as overdue. However, if this button isn't visible, sales taxes aren't due for payment yet.

To check the due date and status, please refer to the screenshot provided below. If the status is open, this indicates that tax returns aren't ready for filing.

Additionally, I'm sharing this guide to help you set up automated sales tax for easy filing: Set up and operate automatic sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

I'll leave this thread available so you can always reply below for any additional queries when managing sales tax returns and payments. Keep safe.
