Shopify Tax is not connecting through QBO Commerce. Sales Tax is not being calculated and filed. Anyone have a solution?

Thanks for reaching out to Community support regarding your Shopify connection in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me assist you with resolving this.

First off, could you please let me know if you encountered any error messages while trying to connect your Shopify tax in QBO? If you did, it would be helpful if you could share those with us so that we can pinpoint the root cause of the problem.

In the meantime, I suggest trying to connect using a different supported browser or running a private window browser when attempting to connect the app to QBO. Additionally, you may also want to reach out to your third-party connector to inspect and diagnose any potential issues. They can also assist you in checking the mapping setting of sales taxes in your QBO. To contact your connector, here are the steps to follow:

  1. From the left panel, go to the Apps menu.
  2. In the Find apps, select the third-party app you're using.
  3. After that, look for the app's contact number in the App information.

Furthermore, I recommend visiting the following link to gain a better understanding of how QuickBooks manages your sales tax in QBO: Learn how QuickBooks Online calculates sales tax.

If you have any more concerns about managing other sales tax activities, please keep me updated. I'm here to provide any assistance and resources you may need. Feel free to comment below to let me know how else I can help.
