Tax liability forms - can they be reset once they have been saved?

Can tax liability forms such as UI QTR Report be changed once that date has passed. For example, mine had the wrong Tax Rate?  I had done it by hand and submitted it to the State but the one in QuickBooks is wrong.

Thank you

We're glad to see you here today, @Kepi34. I'll be happy to point you in the right direction so you can correct your State Unemployment Insurance form in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Since you've already submitted the tax form in QBDT, we're unable to retrieve and correct them manually. However, I recommend reaching out to our customer service team so they can pull up your account information securely and accomplish this task on your behalf. To do that:

  1. Go to the Help menu and click QuickBooks Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Provide a brief description of your concern, and click Continue.
  4. Log in to your Intuit account, select Continue, then Continue with my account.
  5. Enter the single-use code you received in your email and hit Continue.
  6. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.

It's also crucial to update your SUI rate in QBDT to ensure that your tax liability is accurate. This simple step can save you from future headaches during the tax season.

Furthermore, if you've noticed that the SUI is displaying zero from your employee's paycheck, here's an article to help you resolve this issue: Troubleshoot no unemployment tax withheld from a paycheck.

Stay in touch if you have further questions about correcting a tax form in QBDT. I'll be right here to assist whenever you need it. Keep safe and have a great day ahead.
