VEC will not print as a return only as a worksheet

Welcome to the Community space, @Womackstax. We'll help you get through this so your VEC will reflect when you print a return inside QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll.

 

Before anything else, please know that you'll want to ensure the program you're using is running the latest release or is updated. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
  2. Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Select Update Now, then Get Updates.
  4. Close and reopen QuickBooks to install the update again.

After updating both the program and your tax table, try to print the return and see if your VEC shows. If not, you'll want to contact our Customer Care Team so they can schedule a screensharing and help you figure out the root cause of the problem.
