Upon checking here, there's an ongoing investigation regarding the error message that appears when categorizing a bank transaction. Therefore, I highly suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team so they will include you as one of the affected users and receive updates through your email.
Here's how to reach a live representative:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
- Click the Help button at the top of the page.
- Choose the Search tab, then Contact us.
- Type in your concern, and Continue.
- Under Callback, click Have us call you button.
- Enter your details.
- Select Get a call.
In the meantime, I suggest manually recording your transactions and Exclude or Match the transaction from the bank feed.
