I just want to say after reading these comments re: Excel 2016 and QB 2017 not being compatible...it STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. VERY frustrating!! I did discover that if you want to go the extra expense of buying separate programs from Microsoft instead of their less expensive "packages", you can choose NOT to purchase the current Excel. This really isn't acceptable. I prefer the updated version of Excel over the older 2007 (that QuickBooks works with). So, until Intuit can get up with the times I have to unload and reload my Microsoft 365 package when I want to run specific Excel reports from QuickBooks (which is every 2 weeks for now). ALL my documents are on the updated format of Microsoft; you should see what the older version does to the formatting. I have to reload 365 to have my other files work properly. This is an INTUIT issue not Microsoft.
