UK Modern Slavery Act
The United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015 requires businesses to publish an annual statement specifying the efforts taken to help prevent slavery and human trafficking in their own business or their supply chain. The statement below, for the fiscal year ended July 31, 2021, was approved via a signed resolution of the Board of Directors of Intuit Limited (including Chris Evans) on November 2, 2021.

Our Code of Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) applies to our workforce globally and describes how integrity without compromise is our core value. The Code reinforces Intuit’s commitment to a safe, ethical and inclusive work environment and provides important information and guidance about our company policies, values and applicable laws and regulations.
We expect our strategic partners to live by our values as well. We ask all our suppliers to join us by adopting our Supplier Responsibility Policy. We work with our suppliers to obtain high quality goods and services at the best value. We set clear expectations with our suppliers as are outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct (“Supplier Code”). The Supplier Code is acknowledged by our suppliers as part of our supplier on-boarding process. We require our suppliers to establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Supplier Code and all applicable laws and regulations. In the event we were to become aware of any policy violations or behaviors related to slavery and human trafficking, our legal department would determine further actions, if any.
Intuit takes the following actions to help prevent forced labor, slavery and human trafficking.
Policies and Agreements

Our Supplier Code serves as a guide to supplier business conduct, and all suppliers must agree to abide by the Supplier Code. Intuit requires our business partners, suppliers, contractors and agents (collectively, “suppliers”) to conduct themselves ethically, professionally and with the utmost integrity and transparency in all of their business dealings, including complying with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The Supplier Code requires the suppliers to respect and protect fundamental human rights across their value chain in accordance with international standards set forth by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which prohibits slavery, and the International Labor Organization’s Fundamental Convention on Discrimination (Employment and Occupation). Specifically, the Supplier Code provides that all work should be voluntarily performed and prohibits forced, bonded or indentured labor and involuntary prison labor. Additionally, Intuit’s suppliers must provide a safe and hygienic work place, a freely chosen environment for workers and equal employment opportunities.
b. Supplier Responsibility Guidelines
In addition to the Supplier Code, suppliers with an annual turnover of over $20 million must agree to comply with our supplier responsibility guidelines on employment treatment, ethical conduct, occupational safety, environmental management, among other requirements.
c. Standard Purchase Order Terms
Our contractual agreements require suppliers to agree to all of our policies, procedures and requirements, including the Supplier Code and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Diligence
Intuit conducts due diligence on suppliers including screening against government watch lists and conducting adverse media searches. In the event that an issue is discovered during screening, appropriate action will be taken.
Risk Management
Intuit, generally, has the right to perform evaluations to ensure that our suppliers, their subcontractors and their next-tier suppliers are complying with our Supplier Code and with applicable laws and regulations. This includes the right to visit (and/or have external monitors visit) supplier facilities, with or without notice, to assess compliance with the Supplier Code and the law. Intuit may take measures to ensure compliance and address suspected instances of non-compliance with the Supplier Code.
In addition to the policies and procedures described above, we have an anonymous Intuit Integrity Line to report suspected discriminatory, unethical or illegal supplier activities. When necessary, the Intuit Integrity Line is available to protect third-party personnel, temporary workers, independent contractors and personnel of subcontractors.
Training
Intuit conducts employee trainings on workplace safety and our code of conduct and ethics. We also expect our suppliers to communicate the principles in our Supplier Code to their employees and third party partners.
