My company is switching from Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (v15) to QuickBooks Enterprise 3/1/19.
I am trying to import my Chart of Accounts, Vendor (A/P), Customer (A/R) and inventory data today.
So far, my attempts to do anything with QB has been frustrating and I've procrastinated to the last minute.
I was on the phone with QB for an hour yesterday trying to import my Chart of Accounts (an Excel spreadsheet) into QB and could never get it to work.
I have my customer data that I want to import. I use the default template in QB, but there are items I want to be able to see on my customer record, that there's not a field for - ie - Shipping method. How can I add fields to import all the data I'm used to seeing on my customer card in GP?
