I have my self and 1 user for quickbooks desktop. I"m the admin. so I now have to use different passwords within my quickbooks to access each company. so does my employee, he has
to use his own different passwords for the 5 companies. We both use File, Open previous company, to access a company..... There has to be a better way to do it.
I believe from security perspective and audit log, every company file must have a password for every user login. You should consider switching to Accountant edition to run 2 company files in the same time.
