Join nowI have a nonprofit client whose volunteer CPA has retired. The CPA used QB Desktop for PC. The client converted to QB Online, but were disappointed that the Balance Sheet by Class report doesn't work correctly in QBO, so they are wanting to go back to the desktop version. However, they want to use Desktop for Macs, instead of PC. Before they go through the hassle of converting their data to Macs, can anyone confirm that Balance Sheets by Class works in the 2019 desktop Mac version like it does in the PC version?

Hello there, SarahMBB.
Thank you for providing us with detailed information about the conversion process. I'm here to help share information about the report you need in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Right now, the Balance Sheet by Class report is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Premier and Enterprise versions. Running the report in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac is not yet available at this time.
It would be a great suggestion to be able to run this report for your business. I recommend sending feedback straight to our product developers. I'm adding the link below for you to submit feedback:
