Payroll Quarterly Reports

I am running my 1st Quarter Quarterly Reports for the first time without the assistance of our bookkeeper.  I really need step by step instructions to ensure I don't make any mistakes.  I am using QB's Premier for Construction Desktop version. Most of the instructions I have found are for QB's online and the menus don't match up.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Payroll Quarterly Reports

Hello there, @BVB.

I'd be more that happy to help guide you on how to pull up the quarterly report in Quickbooks Desktop.

You can pull up the Payroll Summary report, this will show a list of all paychecks for a certain period of time, like last year or last quarter, along with details including total wages, taxes withheld, and deductions.

Here's how:

  1. At the top menu bar, select Reports.
  2. Go to Employees & Payroll.
  3. Choose Payroll Summary
  4. Change the date range.

For additional reference, you can check this article on how to customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop

However, if you're trying to pull up the quarterly forms in QuickBooks. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Click Employees.
  2. Go to Payroll Center
  3. Select File Forms
  4. Look for the quarterly tax form you need.

This will get you on the right track. Fill me in if you have additional questions about the quarterly report. I'm always here to help. Have a good one.
