Account Log in failure

I tried to sign in to my intuit account on QuickBooks but as soon as I got the mobile code in a text message I couldn't figure out how to get back into where I was supposed to enter the mobile code and then I tried using my Google account to sign in to my intuit account because Google has saved my username and password but I got an error message saying
"Something isn't working
Sorry! Please try signing in again. If the problem continues, contact support for assistance."

We have solutions that can help you fix your login issues, dusblo.

 

Are you using an app or have you logged in through a website? 

 

Log in errors can be caused by browser issues or the app is outdated. If you're using the mobile app, you'll want to update your mobile device and the app. If you're logged in through the mobile browser, you can try using this link to log in and then verify your account without closing the browser: http://qbo.intuit.com/.

 

You'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser in your mobile browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

You'll want to log in to QBO and update your bank connection. If you don't get an error, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If it's still there, please try other browsers to see if we get the same thing.

Ok, so it turns out I can sign into TurboTax with my intuit account but not QuickBooks and I should mention that I've never previously tried using or logging into QuickBooks before but I was hoping I could use the same intuit account for both however I might be mistaken to believe the same intuit account will work for both.

I'd like to help with your questions related to logging in to QBO, dusblo.

 

TurboTax and QuickBooks Online are two separate programs and require their own subscriptions. Did you use the same login credentials when you purchased or activated your QuickBooks account? If so, let's try to reset your password.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Click the I forgot my user ID or Password link on the login page.
  2. Enter your phone number or email address, then select Continue.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions. If you used your email address to verify your account, you'll receive an email with your user ID.

 

Once done, try to log back in to check if you can access your QBO account. Check out this article for more details as well: Get Help If You can't Sign In to Your QuickBooks Online Account.

 

You can also reach out to our support team so they can check on your account and help you log in to QBO. Here's how:

 

  1. Go back to the QBO sign-in page, then select I forgot my user ID or Password.
  2. Click Try Something Else.
  3. Select Talk to an expert.
  4. Complete the required fields. Then select Submit to connect to an expert via Chat.

 

If you're trying to log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can only use the same login info if you're using the Self-Employed TurboTax bundle subscription.
