Accounting program with no ads?

Quickbooks dominates the small business accounting and has many great features. It now has too many ads for other intuit products, which makes it hard to use the service. Are there any alternative programs that do not have the ads? I pay a premium for Quickbooks and am willing to pay a premium for a service that does not have ads disrupting my bookkeeping process.

clicking the X or "no thanks" only brings up another ad. The engineers at intuit are not working to solve it. So it seems like a platform problem more than a feature problem. Thanks

Accounting program with no ads?

Let me share the information about the pop-up ads that interfere with your work in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @kayak360.

The purpose of these ads is to offer guidance and suggestions for enhancing your QBO experience. Currently, we don't have the option to disable the ads from appearing, but we can dismiss them by clicking the X or selecting No thanks.

We always value the views and opinions of our users, as this can help us develop a product that suits your business needs.

Since paying service in QBO to disable the ads is unavailable, I suggest submitting a feedback request to our product developers. This way, they can consider the possibility of removing the ads entirely. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Tap Next to submit.

Also, you can check out this article to learn more information and help when using QuickBooks in the future: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

Please lengthen your patience about this matter. If you have more questions about QuickBooks advertisements, please don't hesitate to reply in the comment section. I'm always here to help. Take care.

Accounting program with no ads?

Thank you, Heide DC. Ive documented below how the ADs get in my way when I'm trying to do work. I have closed these ADs countless times but they come back either as soon as I close them or when the page is reloaded.

When I load my Quickbooks Online service I am given this AD:
"Looking for business funding?
QuickBooks Capital Marketplace shares loan options and makes applying easy."

Then when I click into the invoicing section I see an AD for the 1.75% fee for service to:
"Activate instant deposits to keep cash flow strong when you need it most"

When I select "Hide" button, as the Heide DC response suggested the window does not close, rather I am presented another AD to create an pay button on my invoice.

After finishing an invoice I go to look at my Client screen but have to get past a pop up AD for expanding services:
"Mike, your dedicated account manager, is here to ensure QuickBooks scales alongside your business."

Mike, it turns out, is not able to help me get rid of the ads on my premium Quickbooks Online subscription.

Now I go to check my expenses, but I have to consider an AD to upgrade my account to an Advanced subscription:
Team members view & edit what they need—and nothing they don’t. Only in Advanced

So I want to check my sales, but only after considering an AD for a new app:
Download the QuickBooks GoPayment app so you're always ready to get paid with credit or debit cards.

The issue here is that the entire My Sales screen is ADs - there is no information about my company's sales:

I recognize the importance of having the ability to automatically remove ads that persistently show up in your interface. However, this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online.

We view customer suggestions as chances to enhance the different functionalities of our products. Hence, I recommend you share your suggestions or recommendations for our products. Your valuable feedback will be directed to our Product Development team for review and will help us improve your experience while using the program.

Here's how to send one:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

Moreover, you can personalise your sales forms by adding logos or other specific information within QuickBooks Online. We have resources available to help you with this:

If you have further questions regarding the ads or any QBO-related concerns, you can post them here in the Community. We're here to help and are always available to help.

Accounting program with no ads?

Thank you for recognizing that not having ads persistently show up is important to the ability to work. It is unfortunate that turning them off is not an option in QuickBooks Online.

Is there another version of QuickBooks that does not have the ads?

I am glad to hear that you will share this with your Product Development team.

Accounting program with no ads?

I appreciate you for returning to this thread, kayak360. Allow me to share details and provide a workaround.

The option to turn off ads in all versions of QuickBooks Online is unavailable. As a workaround, you can enable the pop-up blocker in your browser. Here's how:

For Chrome:

  1. Select the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Click Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover to the Pop-ups and redirects section, and choose Block from the drop-down menu.

For Safari:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Select Safari, then click Preferences.
  3. Select Websites at the top
  4. Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
  5. Then select Block in the pop-up menu for the website.
