I appreciate you for returning to this thread, kayak360. Allow me to share details and provide a workaround.

The option to turn off ads in all versions of QuickBooks Online is unavailable. As a workaround, you can enable the pop-up blocker in your browser. Here's how:

For Chrome:

  1. Select the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Click Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover to the Pop-ups and redirects section, and choose Block from the drop-down menu.

For Safari:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Select Safari, then click Preferences.
  3. Select Websites at the top
  4. Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
  5. Then select Block in the pop-up menu for the website.

You can also check out this article, which contains step-by-step videos to help you learn more about using QuickBooks Online: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos. This resource also provides steps for managing your company's finances.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply. If you have further questions about ads or any QuickBooks-related concerns, feel free to include them in the comments. We're here to assist you 24/7.
