I am 2 hours into an experience that makes root canals fun. I also got the phone call today about spending $400 for upgraded service. If this is an upgrade.
I had an employee we needed to let go. In removing them from QBO they happened to have installed apps that connected with our QBO to transfer data.
I am not the primary admin. By being a primary admin one would think that they are now the master of their domain or at least their QBO.No such case.
When I removed the person who we let go as admin there were no error message pop ups to educate that the apps needed ownership transferred.
And now I was told that the previous person needs to reassign ownership or I need to contact each app to have them manually disconnect.
That really makes me concerned how many people become frustrated at this whole experience and how many unused apps remain attached to various QBO instances for bad actors to use. Not only is this annoying as all get out but I am waiting for the next big blow up on the news when a bad actor figures out how to take advantage of this.
