The error message you received can be related to the frequently-accessed page resources stored on your browser. They can cause unexpected browser problems like what you received when logging in to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

 

Let's consider logging into your QBSE account using a private or incognito window so we can isolate this issue. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if you get the same results while using a private browser, use a different browser app instead.

Some of my users are getting the same error message with the QB Time app on their phones. So there's no browser cache to clear. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, logged in, and got Unable to Resolve host "oauth.platform.intuit.com": no address associated with hostname

Let's make sure to fix the error so you'll be able to log in to your account, KMASSSolutions.

 

Intuit may have trouble communicating from your mobile app, that's why your login credentials can't be authenticated. Since you've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app and is still getting the same error message. I recommend contacting our support team to investigate this further. They'll be able to do a screen share so they can exactly see what's happening in your account. They also have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.

I believe there is no support for qb self-employed so you need to really call me for this. It has been giving me an error on my mobile app since December 2020. I bought this new phone and after installing the QBSE I am not able to use the mileage and QB bank accounts. 

Please let me know what to do . heres my email [email address removed], heres my cell phone [Phone number removed]. I have been paying since December and I am not able to get the most of this app. Please refund me from December to March  2021.

It isn't the kind of experience that we want you to come across, christinem1224.

 

As for the mileage, let's make sure to that your device's location is turned on. This can be the reason why you're unable to use the feature upon opening your screen.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to your iPhone or iPad's Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  3. Select Location. Then select Always.
  4. Turn on the Motion & FitnessBackground App Refresh, and Cellular Data options.
  5. Close your settings.

 

With regard to the refund, you can reach out to our Phone Support team. From there, an agent will discuss with you if and how you can get a refund. Our Phone agents are available every Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT and every Saturday from 6 AM to 3 PM PT.

I do not have an iPhone I have an android phone, a Samsung Note 10 plus, I have added the QBSE over and over again, installed and uninstalled it and I still have trouble logging in since December. I know how to do the mileage trip log in my app, but the app is not installing properly on my phone. It is not working at this time. Please call me at once asap, at [phone number removed]. Because I understand that there is no customer support for QBSE.

Since QuickBooks Community is a public forum, we don't have the available tools that could schedule a callback for you. However, we do have available phone representatives in QuickBooks Self-Employed that could help you in addressing this concern.

 

Since you're still unable to use the mileage and banking features, I'd recommend reaching out to them. You can follow these steps to get in touch with our live phone representative.
 

  1. Click the Assistant icon and type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  2. Enter the same keyword (Talk to a human) when prompted. 
  3. Click I still need a human.
  4. Choose between Message an agent and Get a callback.
