Bank data is consistently behind by 1 week in QBO android app?

Let me help with your concern about downloading banking transactions, Mario_at_Calculus_of_Talent.

 

QuickBooks depends on the transactions and that are shared with us with your bank. Although, you can follow these steps that can resolve data and syncing issues when using Online Banking. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the More Options ⋮ menu.
  2. Select Settings
  3. Tap Refresh Data,
  4. Select Yes.

I, of course, tried a Data Refresh; that did not change my results. 

 

However, when I changed from Dashboard View to Shortcuts View and then selected Transactions, all data was revealed. 

 

Also... I have to Reply to your Post via my phone because I've been unable to Reply via laptop regardless of browser; I've been receiving an Authentication Error in the Community for some weeks now..??

Since you're receiving an authentication error when trying to post in the Community from your laptop, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the error. Such as clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time, these files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like authentication error messages. I've included links to all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below. 

 

That should do it. Once you've cleared the cache, please ensure to restart the browser for the changes to take effect.

My online data using quickbooks via the web is also days behind. 

 

Really difficult to get a real picture of finances. 

 

Why can't it be real-time in 2022? The data is real-time in every other aspect of my business and personal life. 

 

I don't get it.

Thanks for joining the thread, @pjginfl. I've got some information you need to help you with your concern about updating data in QuickBooks Online via web.

 

Since QBO is web-based, updates are in real-time. That said, the QBO mobile app always syncs with QBO on the web. Any changes in the app reflect on the web and vice versa.

 

If transactions are not syncing from the QBO Mobile App to the QBO via web, I recommend resetting the QuickBooks Online App. This refreshes the data to ensure that new transactions will be loaded. This will also help us clear out the stored files which impact and causes problems in the system.

 

For Android:

  1. Select the Menu located at the bottom and click the Settings icon.
  2. Then select Refresh Data.
  3. Choose Yes.

 
For iOS:

  1. Select the menu at the bottom and then choose Help & Feedback.
  2. Then select Refresh Data and Refresh.
