CAMPS

We've lost our admin password.

I'm instructed to get into CAMPS to get my info.

I ask for a verification code to be sent to my email, which I received.

The 2nd step asks for it to be sent to a phone (it's a business landline).

I never get the phone call, so I can't move forward .

It's my priority to help you with getting your admin password for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Gloria.

 

Before logging in to CAMPS, you can reset the admin password following these steps (for QBDT):

 

  1. On the Company Login window, select I forgot my password.
  2. Select an email from the dropdown list, then Next. The system will email a token to reset your password. If you don’t see your email address, select Don’t see your email in the list above? and follow the onscreen instructions.
  3. Enter the token from your email.

 

For QuickBooks 2019 and earlier:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop. From the login window, select I forgot my password.
  2. Fill out the info on the form.
    • Your license number for QuickBooks Desktop. (Hold down F2 on your keyboard from the login window to see your license number).
    • Enter the name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code you used when you purchased the product.
    Select OK. If your info is correct, you’ll get a code to the primary email in your CAMPS
  3. QuickBooks will then guide you through creating a new admin password.

After searching all over for a phone number to talk to a HUMAN, I finally got through.

The problem was our license number was linked to a completely different company - an error on Intuit's part.

No info I gave was ever going to be correct!!

The contact person listed was a previous bookkeeper. That was also a "try this name" try this name" approach.

According to the person on the phone the contact person CAN'T be changed. That's stupid.

A previous chat session was useless.

So, the person on the phone was priceless.

Had your former bookkeeper purchased a unregistered license, it will be registered to your company. It is possible your bookkeeper purchased a "refurbished" license for a lower cost or use the license at her/his company now. The primary contact of CAMPS is the owner of the license.

Please help me! I have tried several times now to change my password to no avail.  I have called 9 times and tried on QB.   I need one on one help I believe.  My phone number is [Removed], office is [Removed].  No one I spoke to in the Phillipines could help.

I can imagine the hurdle you've been through in changing the account password, @janni.

 

You can reset the admin password before logging in to CAMPS. Here's how you can do it:

 

  1. Select I forgot my password from the Company Login window.
  2. Next, choose an email from the dropdown menu. To reset your password, the system will send you an email with a token. If your email address isn't included, select Don't see your email in the list above? and then follow the directions on the screen.
  3. Enter the token you received in your email.

 

For QuickBooks 2019 and earlier:

 

  1. Access QuickBooks Desktop. From the login window, choose I forgot my password.
  2. Fill out the info on the form.
    • Your license number for QuickBooks Desktop. (Hold down F2 on your keyboard from the login window to see your license number).
    • Fill  in the name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code you used when you purchased the product.
    Choose OK. If your info is accurate, you’ll get a code to the primary email in your CAMPS
  3. QuickBooks will then walk you through creating a new admin password.
