Can I not add my accountant to this account

Hi there catherinestroudi. You came to the right place. Here's the instructions for inviting your accountant.

 

To invite an accountant:

  1. Select Settings ⚙️.
  2. Under About You, select Accountant.
  3. In the Invite your accountant field, enter the accountant's email address.
  4. Select Send invite. A confirmation that the invitation was sent appears.
  5. Select Done.

 

The invitation is sent to the accountant. Once the accountant accepts the invitation, they are provided with access to your data through QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Remove an accountant

If necessary, you can remove an accountant's access to your data.

To remove an accountant:

  1. Select Settings ⚙️.
  2. Under About You, select Accountant.
  3. Select Remove accountant.

The accountant is removed and no longer has access to your company file or financial data.

If you're not using the QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription for US version, you can cancel this and subscribe to UK version.

 

Here's how to cancel a subscription:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ beside the help icon.
  3. Select Billing Info, then Cancel subscription. If you change your mind, you can select Keep your subscription.

Once done, you can sign up for QBSE UK account. Don't worry, I'll show you how to do it through the steps below:

 

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/self-employed/.
  2. Click See plans & pricing button.

  3. You'll be routed to the different plans available in QBSE.
  4. Choose a plan and click Buy now once you're ready.

 

Once done, you can now add your accountant in the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) UK edition. I'll show you how below:

 

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Under About you, choose Accountant.

  3. Enter the accountant's email address.
  4. Select Send invitation.

After clicking the Send invitation button, you'll see a message saying the invitation was sent. I've attached a screenshot for your visual guide:

Your accountant will receive an invite were they have to confirm it.
