Can I run a report that shows invoices by sent date?

Hi there,@suzanne.mccormic.

Yes, you can pull up the Invoice List by Date or Audit Log report so you can view the invoices you've sent to your customers. The Audit Log also called an audit trail, is essentially a record of events and changes. Also, it will display all the transactions made on the account based on the filtered dates.

For Invoice List by Date:

  1. Click Reports, then type Invoice list and enter.
  2. Hit the Customize button.
  3. In the Row/columns, drop-down put a checkmark in the Last-Modified
  4. Press Run Report
  5. Select the specific invoice.

For more information, check out this article: How to Customize Reports: Basics, Sorting & Date Ranges.

For Audit log:

  1. Go to the Reports tab on the left side.
  2. Type Audit Log in the search field, then enter.
  3. Select the Filter button.
  4. Choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  5. Under the Events section, click the radio button beside Show only these events, then check the box beside Transactions.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Find the customer's name, then hit View

For additional information, you can go through this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

For future reference, you can check out this article that will help you on how to print, email, and export reports in QBO.

Your solutions both let me see the data, but only by drilling down on each line item.  Can I not generate a single report that has the sent date on it??

Hi there, @solutionsacct2020.

I can see that you've posted twice in this forum in which my colleague ZackE already answered your question.

I just wanted to let you know that he already responded to your other post. To view his response, you can check this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/reports-and-accounting/re-is-there-a-report-to-sho....

To keep the conversation streamlined and provide you with the best resolution, I'll ask that you post any follow-ups there.

If there's anything else I can do for you, let me know by commenting below. I'd be happy to help. Have a great day.
