Can I utilize quickbooks without having my CPA any longer reviewing my account? I have cancelled his access.

You can't add data to QuickBooks Online Essentials because your trial or subscription period ended, you canceled your subscription, or there was a billing problem. To update your subscription, click the gear icon and view your account information. What does this mean to me?

Can I utilize quickbooks without having my CPA any longer reviewing my account? I have cancelled his access.

Let me share some details on why you've encountered the error message which is something to do with the status of your subscription, userstandardhaulings.

 

Yes, you can still utilize your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account without granting your accountant access to your QBO. Let's make sure we remove them from the program. Just follow the steps and details in this article: Add accountant users in QuickBooks Online. Then, go to the Remove accountant section.

 

Also, the error you encountered has something to do with your QuickBooks status. To check if you canceled your subscription, or if there was a billing problem, we can access the Subscription and billing page. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Then, check if the QBO account was canceled or expired.

 

If it was canceled or the subscription period ended, just resubscribe it. Let me guide you on how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu. Then Subscriptions and billing.
  2. For your QuickBooks plan, select Resubscribe, and enter the updated billing info.
  3. Select Subscribe.

Here are the useful shortcut keys you can use to access one:

 

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome 
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge 
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari 

 

 

If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Switching to another compatible one to help rectify the issue.
