Good Morning, KathyN.
I'd love to show you how to reactivate your payroll subscription. There is a few ways to do this, Via your Desktop file, through the web, from a cancellation email or from "My Account." Here is a link that breaks down the process of Renewing or Reactivating your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription. However, I'll also provide the answer to your question right here:
Desktop File:
1. Go to Employees, select My Payroll Service, and Account/Billing Information.
2. Sign in using your Intuit Account.
3. Under the Service Information section, select the Reactivate link next to your service status.
4. Choose your payroll service, and select Proceed to Checkout.
5. Select a Payment Method, you can update or add the payment info. Then select Submit.
6. Select Place Order.
7. Click Next and then Return to QuickBooks.
8. Verify that your service is active by signing back in, and selecting Employees, then My Payroll Service. Then select Account/Billing Information, Check the Service Status.
Through the Web:
1. In the Manage your QuickBooks page, select the product you would like to manage.
2. Under the Products & Services tab, select Payroll Subscription tile.
3. The status of your subscription shows below the blue Toolbar. If it says cancelled as the status, select the Resubscribe link.
4. Confirm all the information in the Reactivate Subscription fields are correct then select Save and Continue.
5. Review the details and billing info. Select Reactivate.
6. You'll get a pop-up message that will show your payroll subscription has been reactivated, click Got it!
The two ways above are the most common, but if you'd like to reactivate your payroll via a cancellation email or from "My Account," I'd recommend clicking the link above, it outlines those ways in great detail.

The payroll subscription was renewed on March 4th and when I sign into My Payroll Service the date habeen advanced to 2021 but I'm still getting the alert on the Home page. Also, each time I've done payroll since I have to verify the payroll subscription but the alert never goes away?
Hi there, @KathyN.
We have an open investigation (INV-43437) where users are still getting the alert on the company file. Our engineers are still working to resolve the issue.
For now, we're unable to provide you an estimated turn around time when the investigation will be fix, I suggest signing up for the list of affected users. This way, we'll let you know via email or by tagging you here as soon as the issue is resolved.
