Our Sales Tax Liability Report won't always match the gross sales. Allow me to explain.
They won't match because there're transactions that can appear in the data that will make it unlikely for the Sales Tax Liability and gross sales to match. You can compare the two reports to see which transactions are causing the discrepancies. Also, you'll want to ensure that the dates are matching on the reports. I recommend having your accountant take a look over these reports to help find the discrepancies. You can also contact our technical support team as they have the tools that would allow them to remote into your computer and see if you have your sales tax is set up correctly.
