Cancelling self employed subs

I cancelled my Quickbooks subscription 2 years ago and I realized I’m still being charged $30 a month. I can confirm my subscription is cancelled but why am I still being charged.

Intuit/ QB is greedy like that.  You're not the only one they are doing this to.

Best you can do is contact QB and ask what is going on, along with demanding a refund.

You should also report them to the BBB.

I am aware that after your account is canceled, you shouldn't be charged any more, @mariamkhodr. I want to share some insights and route you to the right support who can assist you further.

Do you currently have any other active  QuickBooks subscriptions? It's possible that you're receiving the fee for other services, that if you're certain that the QBSE  account has been canceled successfully.

Aside from that, I advise contacting our Customer Care Support. This will enable them to check your account and determine the main reason why you continue to receive charges. I'll teach you the detailed steps:

  1. Click on Assistant from the top.
  2. Type in Talk to a human.
  3. Select a way to connect with us:
  • Ask the community
  • Message an agent
  • Get a callback

Also, take note of their hours of operation to make sure they're available by the type you reach out to them.

Feel free to log on to our help page. There are helpful articles and procedures that you can take advantage of in the future.

You're always welcome to post back in case you need more help with this matter or QuickBooks generally. The Community is available 24/7. Take care!
