Intuit/ QB is greedy like that. You're not the only one they are doing this to.
Best you can do is contact QB and ask what is going on, along with demanding a refund.
You should also report them to the BBB.

Do you currently have any other active QuickBooks subscriptions? It's possible that you're receiving the fee for other services, that if you're certain that the QBSE account has been canceled successfully.
