The procedure to edit your company/business name varies to the QuickBooks (QB) product you're using, lwilliams2.
If you're using QB Online, here's how to change your business name:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
- Navigate to the Company tab.
- Edit your company Name.
- Once done, click Save.
- Refresh your browser.
- It's also important to note that you'll need to edit your default customer message to update your company name in this section.
When it comes to QB Desktop (QBDT) company, you can rename the business name through the My Company window:
- Go to the Company menu.
- Select My Company.
- Click the Pencil icon.
- From the Contact Information tab, enter your new Company Name.
- Once done, hit OK.
You can also manage your Intuit Account online. It can help you modify your registered payment method, account details, and login credentials.
