Desktop 2024 Pro: Unable to sign into Intuit account

Spent 2+ hours on the phone with a lovely person in support, no resolution.  New PC, fresh install of Windows 11 Pro, fully updated, fresh install of Quickbooks 2024 Pro, fully updated to R4_15.  Anti-virus and anti-malware programs uninstalled.  I attempt to connect to my Intuit ID via Company / My Company / Sign In.  Quickbooks stalls, just see the spinning circle of dots.

Support tried a great many things, including switching default browser to Chrome, running QB in Windows 8 compatibility, running as admin, uninstall / reinstall... Apparently escalated to an investigations team that will contact me.  Any ideas?

Can you login to CAMPS and find your license code there?

Yes, I've logged into CAMPS, and the license information is correct both there and in Quickbooks Desktop.  Thanks.

Desktop 2024 Pro: Unable to sign into Intuit account

Not sure if its the same issue I posted about in November.  I saw a blank screen after logging in.  I was told its a known issue.  This prevented me from updating to Desktop Pro 2024 via camps.  I was guided through the update by phone.

I am beginning to believe this is a Windows 11 Pro issue.  QB Desktop 2024 runs just fine on the Windows 10 Pro system I am retiring.  I just installed it on another, old Windows 10 system and was able to log into my Intuit account, no issue.  I may drop the new system back to Windows 10, which is disappointing.

I still have not heard from Quickbooks' escalation team, which is disappointing.  I was told on Wednesday they would call me the next day.  Well, it's two days later, no call.  Case number [removed].

I am beginning to believe this is a Windows 11 Pro issue

I still haven't dared to upgrade our OS to Win 11 to run any version of QB Desktop.

I seem to have resolved this issue.  Looking through the errors QuickBooks logs in the system event log (Event Viewer) as well as the trace info QBWin.log and QBWDOTNET.log, there seemed to be the suggestion that there were issues with .Net.  In particular, the .Net error "The computer must be trusted for delegation" etc. led me to https://jarrodstech.net/fix-the-computer-must-be-trusted-for-delegation-and-the-current-user-account...  I made the suggested change, rebooted, and was then able to sign into my Intuit account.

I should remark that I had also reinstalled the OS, dropping back to Windows 10 Pro.

I do not fully understand the registry key value I changed, after reading up on it a bit.  So I am a little leery of the fix I've applied.  But it works, and I am grateful for that.

Having same issue. Were you able to resolve?

Called customer support. Her voice mysteriously went silent after I told her the issue. The call was still connected for over 30 minutes. What a joke support is.

@krstewart

Do you need to install QBD 2024 on Win 11 or else?

The solution I described in my 22 December post to this thread worked.  There may be other solutions, but the smoking gun was crypto errors that were showing up in log files.
