Does anyone have a quick cheat sheet on how I can transfer funds (currently pending)from my Quickbooks to my bank. Need to do this asap thx

On my dashboard, it shows PAID but in the 'payment portal' where I can go to reports, transactions etc, I don't know how to transfer funds.

Hi there, Donna.

You can categorize your transaction as Transfers to record money moving to and from one account to another in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'll show you how.

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu.
  3. Find a transaction on the list.
  4. Select Business if the transaction was for business, or select Personal for personal. If the transaction was both, select Split.
  5. QuickBooks tries to categorize transactions for you. Review the category in the Category and Tags column, you can change it to Transfer.
  6. Hit Save.

For more tips about the process, you can open these articles:

On the other hand, you may create and use rules to quickly categorize recent and past transactions in QBSE. Here's how: Create rules to speed up reviews in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you have any other follow-up questions about transfers, let me know by adding a comment below. I"m always here to help. Have a good one!

Thank you so much, will try to do that now.

When I first used it, I ended up calling the rep who walked me through it then got me to go to the payment portal.. the screenshot is what I'm currently seeing also but I completely forgot the process to getting the funds transferred. QBS TRANSACTION SCREENSHOT.png
