I'm happy to help with getting this liability account inactive. This will hide the account from your chart of accounts.
Here are the steps on how to make the long term liability inactive:
- On the Chart of Accounts page, search the name of the liability account.
- Click the drop-down arrow under the Action column, then select Make inactive.
- Choose Yes on the next prompt.
Note: an adjustment on your opening balance will be added if an inactive account has a balance.
