Join nowMy expenses in both my chart of account and P&L do not print in numerical order. I've Googled trying to fix it but cannot find a remedy. My accountant is the one who is actually asking LOL. Accounts 7106, 6102, 7162 are all printing above 6100 for an example. I have QB Desktop Pro 2021.

I've got the steps on how to print your Chart of Accounts (COA) and Profit and Loss report in numerical order.
First, let's make sure that the list in your COA is set to default order before printing. To do this, let's re-sort your list by following these steps:
Once done, let's open your Profit and Loss report to revert its setting to its original list. Here's how:
Once done, you can now print your COA and P&L report in QuickBooks Desktop.
