Expenses in P&L and Chart of Account do not print in numerical order.

I've got the steps on how to print your Chart of Accounts (COA) and Profit and Loss report in numerical order. 

First, let's make sure that the list in your COA is set to default order before printing. To do this, let's re-sort your list by following these steps:
 

1. Go to Lists and select Chart of Accounts.
2. In the Account drop-down list, click Re-sort List.
3. Select OK to confirm.

Once done, let's open your Profit and Loss report to revert its setting to its original list. Here's how:

1. Go to the Reports menu and select Company & Financial.
2. Click Profit & Loss Standard.
3. Select Customize Report.
4. Go to the Display section, then click Revert.
5. Select OK.

Once done, you can now print your COA and P&L report in QuickBooks Desktop.
