Exporting from online to desktop

Hello @williampc01,

You can export your data from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop directly from the Gear icon. Let me show you how.

But before we proceed, it is recommended to login with QuickBooks Online using the old version of the Internet Explorer browser for a smooth exporting process.

That being said, here's how you can export your data:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under TOOLS, select Export Data.
  3. On the Moving to QuickBooks Desktop? section, select Learn more.
  4. Below the Download company data box, select Learn more.
  5. Click Get started.

For the detailed steps you need to take, follow them, and be guided with this article: Learn how to move your data from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Additionally, I've also included this helpful article about what you can expect after the conversion: Learn about the limitations when you convert from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

If you have any other concerns, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to help. Stay safe!
