Why are customers who were happy with desktop being forced to move online. Not everybody wants or can afford to go from paying 500 once a year to now paying 80 plus a month. Why is Intuit trying to make small business spend more money on the same product that just changes lay outs every year. Why are there only phone numbers for sales, but none for technical support?
You don't have to migrate to QB Online. You can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 or QB Desktop 2022 Accountant edition to upgrade your version. If you prefer to use QB Desktop 2022 Pro/Premier, they have announced their plan to increase the price for the upcoming QB Desktop 2023 and the renewal price for QBD 2022.

So, this no longer true. You are now FORCED to pay for a subscription. Intuit no longer sells QuickBooks Pro without a monthly subscription. If you don't pay the subscription, the program becomes a lame duck. Extremely disappointed in Intuit's greedy decision making forcing it's customers to have to pay monthly in order to use their program. I for one, will be looking into alternative solutions.
Your answers are a "LIE" You cannot use any data entry what so ever. Intuit has highjacked our programs to force us to upgrade and pay 100.00 a month plus what ever fees are attached or pay an annual 900.00 + fees so roughly over 1,100.00 annually. We are small companies trying to keep people employed and this is just another way the large greedy corps are bringing us down. This is the same as someone breaking into our shops to take what ever it is they want even though "WE PAID FOR THE PROGRAM". ALL WE CAN DO IS VIEW ONLY!!!
Which QB Desktop year version?
Pro Plus '24
I do not need the pro plus but updated last year. I do not use the payroll part of it either and in order to use any aspect of my program that I have been paying for for 20 years is really upsetting, to say the least, since now I cannot do ANY data entry because Intuit has highjacked my account and forced it into a view only mode unless I pay. Really Crappy

If you don't need to run any add-ons (e.g QB Payroll), you should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA for advise. They can share an option for your situation.
