Go payment app no longer synchs with quickbook POS

I've got some troubleshooting steps we can perform to sync GoPayment to QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale (POS), jlduron.

To begin with, you'll want to ensure your QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) is up-to-date. This way, we can guarantee the program is running on the newest patches and fixes. Let me show you how:

  1. Sign in to your POS system as an admin.
  2. Go to the Help menu and hover over Software Update
  3. Select Updater Preference.
  4. Click the General tab.
  5. Select Automatically download updates
  6. Then click OK once done.

Then, re-sync the GoPayment app in point of Sale again to re-establish the connection. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit Payments Account.
  2. On the upper right, tap the $ Sign In icon. If you have multiple accounts, select the account you wish to use.
  3. Once complete, click the cloud ☁ icon on the upper right.
  4. Select View Sync Preferences where:
    • Mobile sync can be turned on or off.
    • You can increase or decrease sync frequency.
  5. Press Sync Data and then Save.

Here's an article you can refer to for more details about connecting GoPayment to QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale. If the same thing happens, let's add the GoPayment user again. Let me show you how:

  1. Set up the additional users as GoPayment users.
  2. Once the users have accepted the invitation, they appear on the online service center under Account, then select Users.
  3. Find the user in the list and assign them a role to grant them appropriate access.

For more details about this one, check out this article: Add users to QuickBooks Payments. We can browse this link here if you need help with managing your payments. It'll route you to our general bank topics with articles.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Feel free to reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Take care always.
