HI, i have an issue with users Pasword. As master admin how can in reset users password in quick books online plus. if i delete an user ,it will be delete all transaction

i am using quick books online plus.
also if i want to modify an existing user (example change the email address), how can i send the link to a new user to reset the password from his side.

I'm here to help you recover your password, abufz.

 

You can go to this link: Accounts.intuit.com and select I forgot my user ID or password at the bottom. Then, proceed following the steps on the screen. As long as you are a master admin, you can do everything in the book. That said, you can change the email address of the other users of the book.

 

Here's how to edit their email address:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage Users under Your Company.
  3. Locate the user and click the Edit under the Action drop-down arrow.
  4. Then, Save.

Once done, you'll receive an email with a password reset link. If you delete a user, transactions that made by them will still remain in the book.

 

Editing their email will automatically update in their settings. Other users use their email address when accessing the book without having your password.

i can not get into my quickbooks old password does not work?

Thank you for sharing your concern here in the Community. I'll make sure that you can log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
Since the password won't work, then you can reset it.

Here's how:
 

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Online sign-in page: qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Select I forgot my user ID or Password.
  3. Enter your phone number, email address, or user ID and click Continue.
  4. The screen will prompt you with the next steps.
