I am not sure you may able to open QBA or QBX file on your QBES. You can open it on QBES Accountant edition. Call and ask Intuit Data Service to convert the file for free. Otherwise, consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service.

Can you share with me what type of format the file is showing from the memory stick? Any additional information you can provide will help ensure a timely solution.
Once you export the file (.QBX) and your accountant opens it, the data turns into a working file (.QBA). After making changes and corrections, the system will create an import file that you can open on your QuickBooks.
