There are some pointers that we need to take note of when moving a company file:
To ensure a smooth transition, ensure your QBDT software is up to date and doesn’t exceed the file size limit.
Then, follow these steps to convert your file to QBO:

Once done, run both profit and loss reports for your QBDT and QBO accounts to check that the import process is successful.

You should open a new blank QBO account instead to migrate data from your QBD. Otherwise, you may need a migration tool to do so.
