How can I refresh my transactions? I am missing several months worth.

I know how important it is to view all your transactions, Thesimpleways. I'll outline the steps to refresh the connection with your bank account, ensuring you can access your transactions and continue working smoothly.

First off, could you please provide the name of your financial institution? This will help us check for any related issues with your bank that may be causing the problem you're experiencing. Moreover, you can visit their website to look for maintenance notifications or alerts.

Additionally, it's important to note that QuickBooks relies on the data provided by your bank. Missing transactions may occur due to delays or interruptions in the bank's connection with the program. To refresh the connection, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage accounts.
  3. Click the Refresh all button.

If the missing transactions don't appear after refreshing, you could be experiencing a browser-related issue. In this case, let's open your account in a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save search histories and can help isolate the problem. Refer to the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once done, check your transactions. If this resolves the problem, return to your default browser and clear its cache to refresh the system. Alternatively, you may use other supported browsers.

However, if your transactions are still missing after completing all the measures mentioned above, you can manually upload your transactions using a CSV file into your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

Finally, I've added this resource to aid you in organizing your transactions in QBSE: Categorize transactions.
