How can I remove the issues caused by Shopify integration? Specifically products & services that I cannot make inactive.

Below are the following services that I cannot set to inactive.

Shopify Discount Item
Shopify Refund Adjustment Item
Shopify Sales Item
Shopify Sales Tax Item
Shopify Shipping Item

Every time I try I get this error "We couldn't make your item(s) inactive Take a look at the item(s), and try again." I'm very frustrated because I was trying to downgrade my account due to this issue and Quickbooks won't even let me downgrade because I have outstanding products & services that they won't let me make inactive. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

How can I remove the issues caused by Shopify integration? Specifically products & services that I cannot make inactive.

We recognize the urgency of this matter and want to help you get through this as soon as possible, David.

 

We checked our records and there's an ongoing investigation (INV-110276) where customers are unable to make products and services inactive. Our engineers are aware of it and are now working on a fix. In this case, we suggest contacting our Customer Support Team to add you to the list of affected users and receive updates once it's fixed. Here's how:

 

  1. At the top right, click the Help icon and choose the Assistant section.
  2. Type your concern in the Type Something field.
  3. Click Talk to a human.
  4. Hit I still need a human.
  5. Press the Get help from a human.
  6. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat or Get a callback.

 

Once the issue is resolved, we can make the items inactive again by following the steps in this article: Add product and service items to QuickBooks Online. Then, go to the Delete a product or service item section.
