We checked our records and there's an ongoing investigation (INV-110276) where customers are unable to make products and services inactive. Our engineers are aware of it and are now working on a fix. In this case, we suggest contacting our Customer Support Team to add you to the list of affected users and receive updates once it's fixed. Here's how:
- At the top right, click the Help icon and choose the Assistant section.
- Type your concern in the Type Something field.
- Click Talk to a human.
- Hit I still need a human.
- Press the Get help from a human.
- You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat or Get a callback.
Once the issue is resolved, we can make the items inactive again by following the steps in this article: Add product and service items to QuickBooks Online. Then, go to the Delete a product or service item section.
