How can I run the sales by service detail report and have it exclude inactive/deleted customers?

I'd be glad to join you here and help with your question about running sales report, BlueWaterPoolsK.

There's an option to customize the Sales by Product/Service Detail report that would let you remove customers. Let me share these steps with you:

  1. Go back to the Sales by Product/Service Detail report.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. Proceed to the Filter section, then check the box for Customer.
  4. Check all active customer. Make sure the deleted or inactive customers are unchecked.
  5. Click Run report

Here's an article that would give you more details about this feature: Customize Reports in QuickBooks Online.

Additional references about running reports are also shared here just in case you might need them:

Yes, when customizing the Sales by Service Detail Report in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you must manually select the customers to filter the report to show only specific ones, brdaviscpa.

After selecting your desired customers, click Run Report to apply the changes and view the filtered results. I've added a screenshots for your reference.
