I'll shed some light on setting up user roles in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and submitting expenses via the QBO app, agarcia.
At the moment, it's not possible to assign the role of your users to allow only capture receipts using QBO mobile. I suggest sending your comment about this functionality to our product engineers. Here's how:
- Click the Gear icon and click Feedback.
- Enter your product suggestions. Then, hit Next to submit.
Furthermore, the employee expense management feature is available for those who are using QBO Advanced.
Regarding submitting expenses through the application, you can use your mobile device to submit, but expense claims are not supported through the app. In the meantime, you can do this on the computer.
