How do I add a simple APP to provide production API access for a backend system?

It's for the Accounting side and I just need to pull customers and Items from QBO via API request. Single service account would be accessing the data not QBO user via single signon

How do I add a simple APP to provide production API access for a backend system?

Let me provide some information about the capabilities and features offered by QuickBooks, @asitterly.

Given the specific capabilities you mentioned, it would be best to connect with the Intuit Developer team for guidance. They can provide insights and confirm if integrating with an API through an app is possible within QBO. They have the expertise to guide you through the integration process and ensure that it aligns with Intuit's guidelines and standards.

You can post your concern to the Intuit Developer Community since they are more experienced and can assist you with any API concerns.

Drop your comment below if you have any other QuickBooks concerns. I'll be around to lend a helping hand. Have a good one!

How do I add a simple APP to provide production API access for a backend system?

How do I contact the API Support Team directly.

I already created an app in the Developer portals that I connected to Postman went through the App assessment questionnaire process and which is in approved status and I have production keys. I don't want to list it on the market place. It is to be used just for one production QBO account.
I can't figure out how to get it added. I can't find it in the find apps feature in account view

I haven't had any luck with posts on the community forums.

I am an admin and in account view I can't find the app I created through the Find Apps feature.

I am behind on a project deadline and I need to get this figured out.

We have a dedicated forum for handling API concerns in QuickBooks Online where developers can discuss programming and syncing-related issues and provide accurate solutions.

Let me guide you through the most effective way to post a question on the Intuit Developer page.

Here's how:

  1.  Go to Intuit Developer Support.
  2. Select QuickBooks Online under What do you need help with?
  3. Click Ask a question.
  4. Log into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter your concern.
  6. Click Ask

Additionally, you can also visit the API Docs & Tools menu to find API topics that'll help you in completing your other QuickBooks tasks.
