How do I cancel my Intuit Account if my employer sent me an email to register for it as self-employed? Also, how do I cancel my Intuit Account if it is a free trial?

How do I cancel my Intuit Account if my employer sent me an email to register for it as self-employed? Also, how do I cancel my Intuit Account if it is a free trial?

I'll take it as your employer invites you to view your 1099 online, gkujawa101.

 

Once you received an invitation, you'll be asked to create a Self-employed account. If you have an existing QuickBooks account, you can cancel your trial subscription through the Account and Settings page. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, and then select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel Trial.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to successfully cancel the trial.

 

Afterward,  we'll send an email that confirms the cancellation.

 

Once cancelled, you can use the same user ID and password for your new account. You can use this link on how to create a Self-employed subscription: https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login.

 

Form there, you can view your 1099 online.
