How do I change the Master admin designation? My Master admin has left the company.

Hello @michael107,

 

There are two ways to change your QuickBoks master admin. Here are the following:

 

  • Invite a new user.
  • Choose from the existing users.

Here's how to invite:

 

  1. Go to Gear, then Manage Users.
  2. Click Add user.
  3. Select Company admin as the user type. Then, Next.
  4. Enter the new user's info, then Save.
  5. Your new user will get an email from [email address removed] inviting them to your business. They need to select the Let’s go! link and sign in.

To choose from an existing user:

 

  1. Go to Gear, then Manage Users.
  2. Select the user's name, then Edit.
  3. Under User type drop-down, choose Admin.
  4. Hit Save.
