Not exactly sure what you mean by "...dont have or supposrt connecting to self employyed..."   There is no difference with a Credit Card for QB Self Employed vs. any other type of QBs account.

The one tip I'll give you is take one of your existing cards or get a new card that you ONLY use for business.  Even though it all funnels back to you for the Taxes, it just makes life easier for you and your CPA/Tax Accountant when identifying business related charges.  Also makes it MUCH easier when you go to pay at the end of the month.  There's no multi entries in the books for what is an Owner payment, you just write a check out of the Business Checking and you're done.

As for adding that Credit Card, basically the same steps as adding a Bank Acct if you've done that already.  Just choose Credit Card.  If you haven't done it, here's a link that should show you what you need to do:

Hello there, @jel7712-gmail-co.

Thank you for adding a post here on the Community forum. I'll help you with connecting your credit card account to QuickBooks.

As long as your bank or credit card account is supported for an online banking connection with QuickBooks, you should be able to connect it smoothly. Here's how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, Select the profile ⚙ icon and then select Bank accounts.
  2. In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank. Then select Continue. If you've already connected an account before, select Connect another.
  3. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  4. When you’re ready, select Connect securely.

If you can't find your credit card account, you can click on the Request support for your bank to request a connection between QuickBooks. Then, input your bank's name and URL, and hit Request. You can open this link as your additional guide: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

Once your credit card is connected to QuickBooks and the transactions are added to QBSE, you can categorize them and put your transactions on the correct line of your Schedule C and expense categories.

Feel free to get back to me here with any additional questions about connecting your credit card account to QBSE. I always have your back. Have a good one!
