How do I delete a Client or a Project?

Adding a new time entry and there's a list of Clients and Projects. I'd like to remove some of those entries.

How do I delete a Client or a Project?

Hello there, Chris.

In QuickBooks Online Self-Employed (QBSE), you can keep your list organized by deleting old entries, ensuring that only the items you need appear.

Here’s how:

  1. In your QBSE account, go to the Time page under Invoices.
  2. Locate the items you wish to delete. You can filter it by Start date, Clients, or Projects to easily track down those entries.

  3. Tick the checkbox and hit the Delete icon.

Please note that once the entries are deleted, you can not recover them anymore.

Thank you. I still see the entries here after deleting:

How do I delete a Client or a Project?

Hi, Chris.

Thanks for getting back on this thread. Let me provide some information regarding this one.

The option to remove created entries from the drop-down is currently unavailable, as the Time feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is under beta testing. With that, I recommend sending a product request to our developer team, as they closely track these requests for potential future enhancements.

Here’s how you can submit your feature recommendation:

  1. Navigate to the Invoices tab and select Time.
  2. Click on Give Feedback and select Yes.
  3. Describe your suggestion or idea.
  4. Once done, click Tell us.
