Join nowhow do I export my data on my QB enterprise solutions desktop to QB online?
I'm here to ensure you're able to export your QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solutions to QuickBooks Online (QBO), bdc6072. This way, you can start managing your business using the online platform.
You'll have to prepare your QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise company file. Then, make sure it meets the size (MB) requirement of less than 350,000 target.
Before we start, here are the lists of reminders when exporting your Enterprise solutions to QBO:
Once your desktop file is ready, let's now import it to QBO. Here's how:
After importing, you'll have to run your financial report (Profit and Loss) on accrual basis both in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO. This is to check if the process is successful.
If your reports match, you can now get started with QBO. If they don't match, you'll have to review this guide to check what happens to your data: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.

Make sure you have open a QBO account prior to migrate.

Hello, what do you mean by "starting fresh" - are you saying that we should not import the historical information from Quickbooks Enterpise?
Hey there, @tbutler0614.
I believe @Rea_M was referring to if you have Enterprise only features, (like advanced inventory, advanced pricing, etc.) your data may not be imported the way you want. So, it may be easier to start your file with only balances so it's clearer to import.
