We have two ways to stop the deleted account from showing in the Balance Sheet report. We can either remove it temporarily or completely from the program.
If you'd like to temporarily remove the deleted account, I'd suggest following the steps below. Before proceeding, please note that this feature isn't available in the Simple Start version.
If you want to completely remove the account, you'll have to undelete it. Then, merge, move, or delete it. For the detailed steps about the process, please see this article: Remove Deleted Accounts from Reports.

Once done personalizing the report, I'd recommend memorizing it. This helps you save the current customized settings.
