How do I run a job project report that shows a specific project broken down by it cost codes expenses , the cost codes I have already entered in products and services ?

In Sage we used phases for cost codes and could run a job ledger report that showed the job cost broken down by the cost codes.  I need a report similar to this

I can help you with running the job project report that you need, @bookkeeping-uptm.

 

You can run a Project Profitability report to see the cost codes or items included in that specific project. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Projects.
  2. Click the project.
  3. Choose the Project Reports tab and select the Project Profitability report.
  4. Tick the amounts shown in the report to run a Transaction report.
  5. Hit the Customize button and tick the checkbox for Products/Service.
  6. Click the Run report button once done.

You can also export, print and email reports in your QBO account.
