In QuickBooks Online, users can reset their password by visiting the sign-in page and clicking I forgot my password. They'll receive an email with reset instructions, @bill189. I'd be glad to provide you with the details on how your user can reset their password.
You can use the user's email address or phone number, if they still have access to the email user ID or phone number on your QBO account, you can let them follow these steps:
- Go to the QuickBooks sign-in help page.
- Enter the phone number, email address, or user ID for your account.
- Check your phone or email for a message from Intuit or QuickBooks. Enter the code we sent, and follow the instructions. We may ask you for a little more info to make sure it’s you.

- When prompted, they may reset their password. Or, they can select Skip.

Once everything is good, they can also change their email address or phone number if necessary.
