How do obtain a SOC1 report

I'm here to provide information that could help you get through this.

To get the SOC 1 report, you must have an active payroll subscription and consent to abide by the SOC-specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Please see this link for more details to contact our QuickBooks products and services support.

If you require further assistance, I will be available. I am enthusiastic about helping you. Stay safe!

Hello there, tsil.

We're here to share some details about it. We know how generating the SOC2 report is convenient for you and I hear your urgency in pulling it up. To learn more about it, you can refer to this article: Intuit Compliance.

You can also  reach out to our Customer Support for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to have the said report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

So based on the links and the documents available in the link, can I confirm that QBO doesn't have a SOC I report?

It only has a SOC 2 report.

How do obtain a SOC1 report

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @Fadzry.

Yes, you're right. You can only get Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 certification in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please know that Intuit Online Payroll Services does not undergo an audit for SOC1. Thus, generating a SOC 1 certification isn't possible.

I'm adding this article to learn more about Intuit Compliance, especially in Service Organization Control: Certifications, Standards, and Regulations.

Just in case you want to run payroll reports to view useful info about your business and employees, you can check out this article for more guidance: Run payroll reports.

Come back to this post if you have other concerns or follow-up questions about this. I'll be around to provide further assistance.

How do obtain a SOC1 report

Hi Mark,

I am looking for a SOC 1 report for QuickBooks online accounting software, not QuickBooks payroll.  Does QuickBooks online software NOT undergo a SOC 1 audit?

Thanks so much,
